Carrie Marie Underwood (born March 10, 1983) is an American country singer-songwriter who rose to fame as the winner of the fourth season of American Idol. Underwood has become a multi-platinum sales, a multiple Grammy winner, the Grand Ole Opry inductee, three times the Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association Female Vocalist winner, and current ACM Entertainer of the Year. Their debut album, Some Hearts, was certified seven times platinum, and in February 2006, was the best selling debut country album in Nielsen SoundScan history. She was also the best-selling debut solo album in the history of country music female, February 2008. Some Hearts yielded three number one singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and hit # 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs. His second album, "Carnival Ride, was released on October 23, 2007. It has sold more than 3 million copies as of January 2010, and produced four number one hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs. Underwood launched their third album, Play On, November 3, 2009. Carrie Marie Underwood was born to Stephen and Carole Underwood on March 10, 1983 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was raised on her parents' farm in the rural town of Checotah, Oklahoma. She has two older sisters, Shanna Means and Stephanie Shelton. Her father worked in a sawmill, while her mother taught elementary school. During her childhood, Underwood performed at Robbins Memorial Talent Show, and sang at the Free Will Baptist Church. She later sang for local events in Checotah, including Old Settler's Day and the Lion's Club. In 1996, Capitol Records was preparing a contract for Underwood but cancelled it when company management changed. She spent part of her summer as a page for Oklahoma State Representative Bobby Frame.

In the summer of 2004, Underwood auditioned for American Idol in St. Louis, Missouri. After she sang "Could've Been" by Tiffany on the top 12 girls night, judge Simon Cowell commented that she would be one of the favorites to win the competition. During the top 11 finalists' performance on the March 22, 2005, Idol episode, Underwood sang a rendition of the number one 1980s rock hit "Alone", made famous by Heart, and Cowell predicted that Underwood would not only win the competition, but she would also outsell all previous Idol winners. One of the show's producers later said she dominated the voting, winning each week handily. She gained a fan base known as "Carrie's Care Bears" during the course of the show, and became the fourth season winner on May 25, 2005.

On February 12, 2009, Underwood appeared with the other six American Idol winners at the inauguration of The American Idol Experience at Walt Disney World in Florida. Carrie and the other Idol winners received a microphone-shaped trophy honoring them for winning American Idol. Underwood also took the stage to sing her hit single "All-American Girl" as well as perform a duet of "Go Your Own Way" with fellow winner David Cook.

It's Apotamkin's first Birthday!

Can you believe this? I can't! A full year of blogging has passed by! I just find it truly weird that I have been revolving my life for the past year around the times I should be home to check on my beloved twilight stars and speak my heart on how I feel about each post. I'm not trivial, on the contrary that state comes with a person that takes every aspect of life seriously; a mum, an artist and a working woman:)

But what has triggered it all? to what extent has it influenced my life? where is it heading? I can answer as much as I possibly could to tell you more about me my dear invisible friends from all over the world:) Each green dot popping on my stats globe everyday, meant the world to me. It meant I'm committed to not disappoint you as much as I could. I have done this blog for me and for you and the outstanding young talents that are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart whom I have grown to watch over and love like my own:)

Apotamkin was born when I saw that The Cold One creature in Twilight had Egyptian roots and being the only Twilight Egyptian fan at the time, hopefully the number has grown by now:), made me think I have something unique and I could claim it and hopefully people will also google me and get here:)

It actually did work and as I started by ranking 350, now Apotamkin:The Cold one of Egypt ranks 32nd among top Twilight blogs worldwide because of each dedicated fan that visited my den daily throughout the year.

I have no affiliates, had no support or collaborative promotions from other blogs, never used my blog for advertising, harassing Rob and Kristen or use inappropriate language because respect and true love is of huge value to me. I have gained very few devoted commentators whom I "Cherish" as friends and they flatter me by calling themselves stalkers to make me feel happy about myself, but in fact it was all because you, them and me stood together for each other despite the silence and the oceans of times and places which separate us. so thank you deeply:)

The Twilight Saga books have captivated my attention and fundamentally released me, I am in awe of the morality and values that Stephenie Meyer have represented in her work to a world in which love, unity and hope is very much lacking. I have changed the way I ate, I have changed my profession into something I love more than teaching and pursued my long neglected gift of drawing, which has further developed into photo editing of the pretties:). The happiness those changes have brought to me doesn't equal any accomplishment I have done before and to be able to share it with over 2500 facebook followers is just soo fulfilling:)

Like Bella I almost lost my life at child birth, lost every drop of blood and was miraculously saved and given the gift of motherhood to one single adorable child. I relate to Bella and totally identified with her tough moments and that solidified my connection to her.

I often dream more and do my best to seek my dreams to the most because I hate regret and I believe whatever is meant to be will be with an effort, and I don't wait for anything to bare fruit so I don't feel disappointed and to my astonishment; Bella, a fictional girl, half my age, taught me the value of sacrifice and that all after will be ok:)

So I blog everyday with no prospect of more, dream of being part of Breaking Dawn because it will simply be awesome to be part of it and wish one day my long distance nursing of Robsten will bring them happiness ever after:) and await nothing to enjoy the surprises if they ever come:)

After numerous supporting roles in the 1990s, she starred in the film Cruel Intentions and the short-lived TV series Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane in 1999. Blair attended Hillel Day School, a Jewish day school in Farmington Hills, Michigan, and Cranbrook Kingswood school in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She attended Kalamazoo College in Michigan, then later transferred to the University of Michigan, where she earned her bachelor's degree in 1994.

After training at the Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting, Blair began acting in the mid-90s. Blair began her career with small roles and guest roles in various television series. Blair appeared with co-stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Ryan Phillippe in the 1999 film Cruel Intentions , for which Blair won an MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss – Lesbian Kiss between Blair and co-star Gellar. She also starred opposite Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate in The Sweetest Thing and in two independent films that garnered her much critical acclaim: Dana Lustig's Kill Me Later and Todd Solondz's controversial Storytelling, and one of her most recognized roles, Liz Sherman in Hellboy (2004) and its successful sequel released in 2008, Hellboy II: The Golden Army based on the popular comic.

Other films include the political thiller The Deal, The Big Empty, Feast of Love (opposite Greg Kinnear and Morgan Freeman), Ed Burn's Purple Violets and the horror thriller WΔZ (opposite Stellan Skarsgard).

Blair starred opposite Molly Shannon in the TV series Kath & Kim, based on the Australian television series of the same name. Blair's upcoming projects are Happy Together (2009), as Mrs. Delbo, Columbus Circle (2010) and Different Kind Of Love (2011) with Juliette Lewis.

New-born Edward Poster!

I don't know what kind of poster is this but it did inspire me to work my brush on it and bring out the fiery side of a newborn Edward! Which brings me to a special plea; what if Stephenie Meyer completes Midnight Sun and tells us all about Edward before meeting Bella too? that would be my Breaking Dawn, Apotamkin will light up again:)
